Day 1 : KOCHI
Upon arrival at Kochi Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where the bountiful backwaters of Kerala—‘God’s Own Country’—will greet you. This picturesque region of southern India is a vibrant paradise, filled with spices, vivid colors, and the soothing sounds of nature. Relax along the serene shores of the Arabian Sea, savoring the freshest seafood as you unwind and embrace a slower pace of life, where nature dictates the rhythm of the day.
In the evening, join your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a warm Welcome Reception, complete with local appetizers to kickstart your journey.
Day 2 : KOCHI TO PERIYAR NATIONAL PARK
Your love affair with Kerala’s lush landscapes begins today as you travel to Periyar, named after the state’s longest river, which meanders through the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park—your first stop.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the tranquil sounds of nature with a Nature Walk led by a Local Specialist. Stroll along forest trails, surrounded by Banyan, Teak, and Bamboo trees, and discover the endemic flora and fauna of Kerala. You may be fortunate enough to spot wild elephants and bison near the serene shores of Periyar Lake, or catch a glimpse of hornbills, flycatchers, and kites—local and migratory birds that thrive in this pristine sanctuary.
Feeling rejuvenated from your connection with nature, head to your hotel to refresh before experiencing a Dive Into Culture with a captivating Kalaripayattu performance. Day 3 : PERIYAR NATIONAL PARK TO KUMARAKOM

Day 4 : KUMARAKOM TO ALLEPPEY BACKWATER TO KUMARAKOM
Today, Kerala’s deep connection with water takes center stage.
Enjoy a leisurely morning before boarding a traditional houseboat for a serene cruise through Kerala’s iconic backwaters. Relax and soak in the slow, tranquil pace of life as you navigate the narrow canals en route to Alleppey. Along the way, watch villagers greet one another from their wooden Shikaras (traditional boats) and observe the peaceful flow of life along the palm-lined shores. Even your vessel for the day carries a sense of history—these houseboats, or Kettuvalloms, were once used to transport rice and spices.
Upon reaching Alleppey, disembark and return to Kumarakom for a delightful dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 5 : KUMARAKOM TO KOCHI
The remnants of Kerala’s vibrant, centuries-old trading history are best explored in the historic port city of Kochi. Once a bustling hub where Chinese, Arab, and European merchants came to buy the region’s prized spices, Kochi bears the influence of these diverse cultures in its architecture, cuisine, and traditions. Colonial bungalows, Catholic churches, mosques, and a European fort now adorn the cityscape, once known as the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea.’
After a leisurely lunch, embark on a city tour to experience this multicultural center. Visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace and St. Francis Church, built by Portuguese traders, and explore the Fort Kochi area. Marvel at the iconic cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, unique to this part of Kerala, as they are expertly lowered into the sea to capture the seafood that Kochi is famous for.
In the evening, Connect With Locals for a cooking demonstration with a local family, followed by a delightful Be My Guest Farewell Dinner—a perfect way to end your journey in Kerala.
